Kim Denton has served as President of the Oak Ridge Economic Partnership since its inception in 2002. Kim is responsible for recruiting, retaining and expanding business and industry on behalf of the City of Oak Ridge.
Kim previously served as Vice President, Economic Development for the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce. She began her career in economic development at Tennessee's Resource Valley (now the East Tennessee Economic Development Agency) where she served as Marketing Director for 7 years.
A Certified Economic Developer, Kim is past chair of the Tennessee Economic Partnership, past president of the Tennessee Economic Development Council and sits on the board of the Tennessee Biotechnology Association. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she earned her B.S. in Communications from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
